Metal handicrafts, hand-finished in Moradabad

XANVOR is the metal-handicrafts house brand of Zenko Inc., a GST-registered partnership firm based in Moradabad — the city that has shaped brass for generations. We design, cast, raise, hand-finish and assemble brass, copper, kansa (bronze), silver- and gold-plated metal and sheesham pieces in our own workshop, and we export them ourselves. There is no trading house in between: the firm that quotes you is the firm that makes the goods, runs the quality check and raises the invoice.

Every XANVOR piece is hand-hammered and hand-finished by artisans in our Moradabad workshop. Small marks of the maker — a hammer line, a turn in the wood grain, a subtle shift in patina — are part of the character of a handmade object, not a defect. We say so on the quotation, before you order, rather than after you open the carton.

What the workshop can do

XANVOR is a making house before it is a brand. Most of these processes run in our own Moradabad workshop, which is why a catalogue design can be rescaled, re-finished or fitted to your hardware without starting again from a blank sheet. The few that need specialist plant — 3D printing, investment casting and vacuum casting — run with our production partners in India, to our model and specification, and pass through our own finishing and quality check.

• 3D sculpting and CAD in our own studio — a piece is modelled from your photo, sketch or moodboard before anything is made, with wall thickness, part splits, fixings and weight settled on screen, and files issued as STL, OBJ, GLB, STEP or 3dm. How a bespoke piece is built.
• Printed masters, patterns and 3D printing — resin masters and casting patterns, and metal 3D printing where a geometry cannot be cast, run with our production partners in India.
• Investment and vacuum casting — lost-wax casting for high-detail work, metal vacuum pressure casting for fine sections, and resin vacuum casting for an approval sample before metal is committed, run with our casting partners in India.
• Sand casting in brass, aluminium and kansa (bronze).
• Sheet work — raising, spinning, planishing and hand-hammering in brass and copper.
• Hand engraving (nakkashi) and acid etching.
• Laser-cut ironwork for wall art, screens and panels, powder-coated or antique-finished.
• Brass inlay into wood — bands, lines, dots and stringing let into sheesham and other hardwood, cut to depth and levelled flush, with cast brass handles and fittings seated into the timber.
• Wood and metal combinations in sheesham — lids, bases, handles and trays.
• Custom sizes and fitments — rescaled shapes, altered capacities, mounting hardware, stacking, food-contact liners.
• Branding — laser-etched or embossed logos, swing tags and printed retail-ready boxes.

Materials and finishes

We work in brass, copper, kansa (bronze), stainless steel, aluminium, silver- and gold-plated metal, sheesham wood, iron, natural stone and agate, and resin inlay. Standard finishes are antique gold, mirror polish, matte gold, oxidised, silver plate and powder coat. Finish is the detail buyers argue about most, so we match it against your reference swatch and freeze it — along with size, weight and packaging — as the production standard before the bulk run begins.

The live catalogue holds more than 500 designs across fourteen collections: Silver & Gold, Copper, Brass, Sheesham & Wood, Wireform Furniture, Artisanal Serving Trays, Copper Home Collection, The Jewel Collection, Canister & Vanity Series, Ribbed Storage Collection, Metal Wall Art & Décor, Kansa Dinnerware, Kitchen Utility Crafts and Hot-Serve. Five ranges have pages of their own:

• WILDFORM — sculptural cast-brass and steel hardware and objects.
• HANDWORK — ten process-led families in brass and stainless steel.
• TIDELINE — coastal metal.
• FATHOM — marine barware and serveware.
• Hot-Serve — insulated food warmers, hot-pots and serving domes.

How an order runs

The route from first email to shipped carton is the same for a first trial order and a repeat programme.

• 1 · RFQ — send designs or reference photos, quantities per design, finish and destination through the RFQ form, by email or on WhatsApp.
• 2 · Quotation — you get a written quotation under a reference number, stating the Incoterm, validity and packing assumptions. Quote that reference in every follow-up and the thread stays traceable.
• 3 · Proforma Invoice — the order is confirmed on a PI carrying the agreed specification, price, currency, lead time and payment schedule. No payment is taken on this site.
• 4 · Production — typically 30–45 working days once the PI is confirmed and the advance received, with quality checked in-line at the bench.
• 5 · QC and approval — pre-dispatch photos and video come to you for sign-off before anything is packed.
• 6 · Packing and documents — export packing with foam inserts and master cartons, then the invoice, packing list and shipping papers to your forwarder or ours.

Commercial terms

• MOQ — 20 units per design, for catalogue and custom or modified designs alike. Mixed-design orders are welcome.
• Samples — 1 unit minimum per design at sample pricing plus courier; the sample cost is adjusted against your subsequent bulk order.
• Currency — quoted in USD as standard, with EUR, GBP, AED or INR on request. The currency on the Proforma Invoice is the currency of settlement.
• Incoterms — EXW Moradabad by default; FOB Nhava Sheva or Mundra, CIF to your port, or DDP where serviceable.
• Payment — T/T bank transfer against the Proforma Invoice: an advance to begin production, the balance before dispatch, as agreed on the PI.
• Lead time — handmade production typically 30–45 working days, with the exact schedule confirmed per order.
• Indicative pricing — figures shown in the catalogue are indicative trade pricing, EXW Moradabad and ex-GST; your firm price is the one on the Proforma Invoice.
• Tooling — mould, pattern and tooling charges on new custom designs are quoted separately, never buried in the unit price.
• Testing and audits — third-party testing or certification (SGS, FDA, Prop 65, LFGB, REACH) and factory audits are arranged on request and charged separately.
• Replies — within one working day, Mon–Sat.
