Silver plated serveware manufacturer — salvers, trays and cake stands

XANVOR is the metal-handicrafts house brand of Zenko Inc., a manufacturer and exporter working from its own workshop in Moradabad, India. As a silver plated serveware manufacturer we make the English and European shapes an overseas buyer already sells — shaped salvers, oval and rectangular trays, two-tier cake stands, condiment sets and pierced bread baskets — where they are quoted, with no trading house in between.

The HERITAGE range: one hundred pieces in the period styles

HERITAGE is a hundred-piece range of silver-plated and cast pieces in the decorative vocabulary a Western buyer's customers recognise on sight — Chippendale with its scrolled and pierced rims, Regency, Baroque, Beaded, Gadroon, Rosette, Shell, Foliate, Acanthus and Deco — with wrought-iron and cast-aluminium pieces for the garden and terrace.

Salvers, trays and platters

Shaped salvers with pierced or cast rims, oval and rectangular trays, and handled trays sized for a butler's pantry, a hotel floor or a gift shelf. Rim treatment is where these ranges live or die, so rim pattern, handle casting and foot are specified separately.

Cake stands, footed bowls and condiment sets

Two-tier cake stands and comport shapes where stem and plate are made separately and brought together before plating; footed bowls; condiment and cruet sets. Tier spacing and plate diameters are yours to set.

Bread baskets, ewers and light pieces

Pierced bread baskets whose piercing follows the same family as the salver rim, so a buyer puts a coherent table on the shelf rather than a collection of near-misses. Also ewers and jugs, candlesticks and candelabra, and garden pieces in dark charcoal and antique gold.

How a silver-plated piece is actually made here

Take a spun salver. A brass-alloy blank is spun over a wooden chuck, the rim is pressed and hand-filed true, cast feet and handles are soldered on, and only then does the piece go for plating. That sequence matters: plating finishes a piece that was already correct, rather than hiding filing marks.

Materials across the range are silver-plated brass-alloy sheet, silver plate on brass, hammered silver plate, wrought iron in dark charcoal and cast aluminium in antique gold, behind which sit the workshop's own processes: sand casting in brass, aluminium and kansa, raising and spinning, hand engraving (nakkashi), acid etching and laser-cut ironwork.

Why a 10-piece MOQ changes a buying decision

Every design starts at ten pieces — for a retail chain, the difference between committing to one shape and testing eight. A first order can carry a Chippendale salver, a gadroon tray, a beaded cake stand and a pierced basket, and show which family sells before the repeat.

Private label, branding and custom sizes

Rescaling a shape, changing a capacity or adding a food-contact liner is routine work. Branding is laser-etched or embossed logos, swing tags and printed retail-ready boxes. Tooling and pattern charges on new designs are quoted separately, never buried in a unit price — full route on the OEM and ODM page.

Packing, approval and export documents

Packing is foam inserts into master cartons for sea or air freight, and you approve photographs and video before anything is packed. The document set is the commercial invoice, packing list and shipping papers. Testing and audits are arranged on request and charged separately — more on export markets.

What to send us for an accurate quote

  1. The pattern family and shapes — or photographs of what you sell now.
  2. Diameters, lengths and tier heights, and the quantity per design.
  3. Destination port or city, the Incoterm you work on and the quote currency.
  4. Branding: logo, swing tag, retail box, barcode.
  5. Any test report your market requires, priced as its own line.
  6. The date you need goods in your warehouse.

Send it through the RFQ form, to hello@xanvor.com, or on WhatsApp — reply within one working day, Mon–Sat, 10:00–19:00 IST.

Silver-plated serveware — buyer questions

What is the minimum order on the HERITAGE silver-plated range?

Ten pieces per design on HERITAGE, against 50 across the rest of the catalogue and 100 for a custom or modified design. Mixed-design orders are welcome, so a first order can spread across salvers, stands and baskets rather than go deep on one shape.

Is the plating silver over brass, or solid silver?

Silver plate over a brass-alloy body: silver-plated sheet, silver plate on brass, hammered silver plate. Bodies are spun, pressed, filed and soldered before plating. We do not sell sterling or solid silver.

Can you match an antique pattern we already sell?

Send the piece, a photograph or a drawing with your sizes. Feasibility notes and a quotation come first, then counter-sample photographs, then a physical sample, typically in 7 to 14 days. On approval the sample becomes the production standard.

Do you hold food-contact or plating certification?

We do not claim to hold any certification today. Third-party testing such as SGS, FDA, Prop 65, LFGB and REACH, and factory audits, are arranged on request and charged separately. Tell us which report your market needs and it is priced as its own line.

How do you quote, and how is payment taken?

In USD as standard; EUR, GBP, AED or INR on request, and the Proforma Invoice currency is the currency of settlement. EXW Moradabad by default, or FOB Nhava Sheva or Mundra, CIF, or DDP where serviceable. Payment is by T/T against the PI, and no payment is taken on this website.
