Punched Stationery Chest

Keep stationery and small desk supplies. A rectangular steel chest has a plain folded base and a shallow lid with three generous bands of punched slots. Wide solid borders make the top feel substantial. A broad recessed lifting lip replaces a small knob, while the softly formed corners keep the object domestic rather than industrial. Punch edges and fold lines are hand-dressed before coating; restrained softened corners remain visible under a continuous muted oxide powder finish.
