Hold an interior door in position. A low oblong stone-like mass has a flattened base and one broad thumb hollow for lifting. The top is gently irregular rather than faceted like a gemstone. Restrained hammer traces give the stainless shell a hand-worked surface while its low proportions keep it visually grounded. Broad planishing patches follow the rounded shell; the lifting hollow is smoothly rubbed and the base line is deliberate, without exaggerated dents or distressed staining.
