A broad upright shell mass cups a plain clear glass tube at its centre. The brass shell has an oval footprint and a closed rounded back, with five low ridges rising toward a softly scalloped mouth. The tube extends visibly above the brass lip, so its simple cylinder contrasts with the folded shell shoulders. A low continuous pedestal keeps the composition compact and grounded. Broad chased ridges travel across a lightly granular cast surface.
