Vine Loop Door Knocker

A substantial oval loop appears to be made from two broad vine strands gently twisting together, yet remains a smooth closed ring with a large clear opening. It hangs from the reinforced root of one folded leaf backplate. The leaf's broad central fold creates a quiet sculptural crest above the loop; its lower portion provides a sheltered striking zone behind the ring, without thin tendrils. Selective rubbing reveals warm brass along the loop's raised crossings and leaf fold.
