Store magazines beside a chair. Two broad steel cheeks curve inward around a low removable wooden base, forming an open sling with a central hand gap. The upper edges are generous and smooth. Charcoal powder gives the bent metal a quiet opaque surface, letting the real wood grain and broad sheet silhouette supply contrast. Hand-dressed bends remain softly legible beneath an even charcoal powder coat; exposed wood grain is natural and restrained, with no artificial distressed edge treatment.
