Darwaza Portal Bookend Pair
XV·HW·B038
Substantial architectural bookend pair. Two unequal brass uprights form broad open rectangular portals with softly stepped outer crowns. Their flat feet extend beneath the books, while thick rounded jambs frame the openings. One portal stands taller and the other wider, creating an architectural pair with substantial cast volume. Subtle sand grain remains inside the portal openings; outer crowns are hand dressed and selectively buffed, preserving softened cast transitions instead of sharp machined stair edges.
