Carafe and tumbler set on a brass carrier. A plain glass carafe and matching tumbler sit inside a shallow hammered brass carrier with two broad seating wells. The carrier has a low front lip and two raised end shoulders for lifting. The glass remains undecorated so the worked brass base defines the set. Visible hammer courses wrap the two shallow wells and raised end shoulders; controlled forming variation contrasts with simple clear glass, without artificial haze or metal pitting.
