The upper rail is smoothly rounded for jewellery contact. Metal remains the structural frame and weighted base, while the acrylic provides a quiet cold-use accent without becoming a fragile load-bearing post. The steel carries subtle bend and hand-polish transitions, and the acrylic inset shows real edge thickness with restrained smoke transparency rather than an artificial glow.
