Desktop tool and notebook organiser. Two folded brass volumes of unequal height sit on a softly chamfered dark-wood base. A tall narrow pocket holds tools, while a wider lower pocket supports a small notebook behind a broad front lip. Their gently sloping faces and open rectangular mouths create a stepped geometric composition. Broad folded planes retain restrained planishing and visible brushed grain; corner transitions are softly worked, while the dark wood remains smooth rather than artificially distressed.
